What’s the story behind your band name? Not very glamorous really, but the band’s founder members were listening to a Don Henley album of the same name when the idea of forming the band first came up. We both liked the name so stuck with it, and we’ve never come up with anything better that [...]

Our London based insider Nina Hervé, enjoyed the capital’s snowfall last month with a trip up to Hampstead Heath to check out John Gay’s photography. Along with a few visits to some of the smaller museums the city has to offer, a drive to Walthamstow to see the Wood exhibition was also on the hit [...]

At Gallery we love rock, adore breakbeat, work to drum and bass and love a bit of hip hop but we think there’s always room for some Jazz. A true blues legend is stopping in town for one night only this month and this Grammy Award-winning artist sure is sweet . . . Sugar Blue, [...]

Former Beaulieu student Françoise Guerrier moved to London in 2007 after living in Manchester where she completed a degree in performing arts. I caught up with Fran to talk about her life in the arts. How did you get into the arts? Ever since I can remember I was always getting involved in performing. I [...]

A couple of weeks ago I started to get excited about the release of The Dark Knight. Whilst scouring the media for reviews, something caught my eye. A number of commentators were interested in the film’s engagement with 9/11. Jeff Dawson (‘Has the new Batman plundered its plot from 9/11?’, The Sunday Times, July 20, [...]

Familiar with the Daft Punk Pyramid? Well I’m sorry Thomas and Guy-Manuel, but Etienne De Crecy has almost eclipsed your travelling stage with this epic installation. Those crazy french euro-house DJs, what will they think of next?

According to our publisher, we’ve ‘had a thing’ about this video this month. I’m not sure what he means by that, but what I do know is that Gallery accounts for probably one fifth of the seven million, two hundred and eighteen thousand, two hundred and twenty nine times the video has been viewed at the time of writing. That’s 1,443,645.8 times.  Yep, we’re so crazy that we watched it point eight of a time just to make the figures add up. Anyway, POWERTHIRST. It’s an energy drink for men.. MENERGY!

This month’s ‘Youtube video of the month’ was a close call between a Gallery favourite comedy classic involving a cleverly dubbed television advert and that epic new television advert featuring Brains from Thunderbirds dancing to Snap’s ‘Rhythm is a dancer’.  No contest really.
