A couple of weeks ago I started to get excited about the release of The Dark Knight. Whilst scouring the media for reviews, something caught my eye. A number of commentators were interested in the film’s engagement with 9/11. Jeff Dawson (‘Has the new Batman plundered its plot from 9/11?’, The Sunday Times, July 20, [...]

We must, after all, cement the Island’s status as destination of choice for the discerning traveller. What would Great Uncle Bertie have said? The answer was simple.  Staring me in the face. Some designer labels [...]

I have just about seen it all. Inflation has sky-rocketed so high that some kind, generous, heart-filled being has decided to allow the first time buyer to purchase… “Probably the best-priced property in Jersey?” Well blow me down. Carlsberg have decided to take the property market by storm. A Samaritan for the middle-classed has been [...]

According to our publisher, we’ve ‘had a thing’ about this video this month. I’m not sure what he means by that, but what I do know is that Gallery accounts for probably one fifth of the seven million, two hundred and eighteen thousand, two hundred and twenty nine times the video has been viewed at the time of writing. That’s 1,443,645.8 times.  Yep, we’re so crazy that we watched it point eight of a time just to make the figures add up. Anyway, POWERTHIRST. It’s an energy drink for men.. MENERGY!

This month’s ‘Youtube video of the month’ was a close call between a Gallery favourite comedy classic involving a cleverly dubbed television advert and that epic new television advert featuring Brains from Thunderbirds dancing to Snap’s ‘Rhythm is a dancer’.  No contest really.
